Hair loss and uterine infection

Uterine infection is one of the most common diseases among women; and every year, a large number of women develop this infections. Many bacteria, such as bacteria that cause sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea and chlamydia, cause uterine infections. Bacteria first enter the vagina and cause an infection. In the later stages, the infection spreads to the uterus. Uterine infection has many complications. The question that arises here is whether uterine infection causes hair loss? If you want to know the relationship between uterine infection and hair loss, stay tuned for the rest of this article.

What’s the relationship between uterine infection and hair loss?

There is a direct link between dysfunction of some organs and hair loss. For example, hyperthyroidism and impaired thyroid hormone secretion cause hair loss. Changes in the secretion of the hormone insulin are other factors that are directly related to hair loss. If the cause of hair loss is such diseases, by referring to a specialist doctor and treating the disease, the hair growth process will return to the first state.

Thyroid hair loss

Only in some sources of traditional medicine, you can see uterine infection recognized as one of the causes of hair loss, and in those cases there were solutions to treat the infection. Evidence suggests that uterine infection and other diseases such as uterine fibroids do not directly cause hair loss; but the side effects of these diseases increase the cause of hair loss. In other words, infection of the uterus causes diseases and problems in the body that cause hair loss.

The effect of uterine infection on ovarian function

Because the vagina, uterus, ovaries, and pelvis are in close contact with each other, an infection in one of these organs can spread the infection to other organs. The fallopian tubes connect the uterus and ovaries. The ovaries are responsible for secreting the hormones estrogen and progesterone.

The secretion of sex hormones is closely related to hair loss. Changes in sex hormones in women cause hair loss and hair growth in other organs such as the face and chest; therefore, uterine infection and hair loss are indirectly related.

Hair loss has many causes. Hair removal stops with the removal of underlying factors; but if you have hereditary hair loss, hair transplantation is the only treatment. Anemia

Uterine infection can cause anemia in people by causing bleeding. Cervical infection and endometritis or inflammation in the endometrial layer of the uterine wall are among the causes of vaginal bleeding. Severe bleeding in women, such as vaginal bleeding, can cause anemia in some of them.

Anemia is one of the causes of hair loss; because hemoglobin in the blood provides the oxygen needed for the growth of body cells, including hair. If a person has anemia, the required oxygen is not provided to the hair follicles and as a result the person suffers from hair loss.

Infections associated with hair loss:

As mentioned, uterine infection indirectly causes hair loss by causing other diseases and affecting other organs. Some infections directly cause hair loss. It may not be out of place to discuss some of the other infections that cause hair loss when discussing the relationship between uterine infection and hair loss.

Seborrheic alopecia

This disease is a skin disease. In this disease, small colored or colorless spots appear in some parts of the skin. These spots are skin infections that cause hair loss. Dandruff, scalp and hair, itching and redness of the skin and sensitivity of the skin of the body and head to any detergent are some of the symptoms of this disease.

Follicle infection

Follicle infection or folliculitis is an inflammation or irritation of the hair follicles. Redness of the scalp, pimples and itching are symptoms of infection of hair follicles. If hair loss is due to a follicle infection, by consulting a dermatologist and using effective treatments, you can completely cure the disease and stop the hair loss.

Psoriasis

Another infection that causes hair loss is psoriasis. As a result of this disease, the growth of skin cells increases. The rapid growth of skin cells causes the scalp cells to thicken. The changes that this disease causes in the scalp cause hair loss.

Fungal infection

Another skin infection that causes hair loss is fungus. This disease, which affects most children, is highly contagious. Scaling, redness and itching of the skin in circular patterns on the head are symptoms of a fungal infection.

In a fungal infection, the scalp becomes rough and the hair falls out. Treatment of fungal infections is easily done by consulting a dermatologist. In this way, more complications such as hair loss and transmission of the disease to other people are prevented. Hair mesotherapy and other modern methods are methods of treating hair loss that are used by the specialists of this center to treat hair loss.

Symptoms of uterine infection:

With the knowledge of the symptoms of uterine infection and the timely identification of this disease, timely treatment is performed. Some of the symptoms of a uterine infection include:

  • Fever and high temperature
  • Feeling of pain in the lower and upper abdomen
  • Feeling of pain when urinating or having sexual intercourse
  • Irregular bleeding
  • Increased fungal vaginal discharge
  • Feeling constantly tired
  • Severe pelvic pain
  • Vomit
  • Anesthesia

Therefore, if you notice these symptoms, it is necessary to see a specialist and be examined by them for uterine infection. Examinations and tests by a specialist can determine if these symptoms are related to a uterine infection or are caused by an illness or other problem.

How to treat uterine infection

In addition to indirectly causing uterine hair loss, negligence in the treatment of uterine infection can cause much more serious problems. Infertility, ectopic pregnancy and chronic pelvic pain are some of the other complications of this disease.

The use of antibiotics is the most common and effective method of treating uterine infection. Usually two types of antibiotics are used at the same time to treat uterine infection. With the use of antibiotics and medications prescribed by a specialist doctor, the symptoms of the disease disappear. In such cases, you should not stop taking the drug and have to complete the course of medication. Otherwise, the disease will not completely heal or the infection will return. If it is not possible for the patient to use antibiotics due to pregnancy or the patient has pelvic cysts, other treatment methods are needed and the patient needs to go to the hospital.
