Recommended ways to face the Coronavirus

Corona Viruses are a large family of viruses that were first discovered in 1960. They cause cold-sickness diseases in humans and animals, and are characterized by their crown on the wall surfaces of viruses. Sometimes some coronaviruses embroil the lungs and sometimes show symptoms in the gut and stomach. It is usually associated with mild cold in most people. Coronavirus regularly causes disease in the human population and causes
respiratory tract infection in children and adults.

Coronavirus can pass to you by contacting door handles, buttons, desks, bed edges, and other metal and plastic surfaces that are in direct contact with you. The results also show that high humidity increases the lifespan of the coronavirus. Studies show that coronaviruses can survive on an average level for between four to five days. Some of them can survive for up to 9 days outside the human’s body at room temperature.

How is the coronavirus transmitted?

Depending on the type of coronavirus, the methods of transmission are different. In some cases, human-to-human transmission is similar to influenza through coughing and sneezing. However, the chance of human-to-human transmission decreases in open space. To prevent from getting infected, avoid shaking hands and kissing and don’t touch your face before washing your hands.

Who is more at risk for the Corona virus?

The mortality rate so far has been 2.3%, the probability of death increases with age. The Center of Disease Control and Prevention of China has compiled an article based on a study on 72314 infected people in the world that shows the mortality so far has been 2.3%.
The chance of mortality increases in older people and no death has been seen in children under 9.
While the mortality rate is 0.2% among people who age between 10-39 years, it increases to 3.6% in the age group of 60-69 years, while it is reported 8% in the age group of 70-79 years , and 14.6% among people who age 80 and more.
Patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, and chronic respiratory disease had the highest death rates. The mortality rate among men is 2.8% and 1.7% among women.

Is there a cure for this disease?

Although many efforts have been made to produce the vaccine, there is still no vaccine or antiviral drug. There is nothing specifically called a cure for this disease yet, all we can do is to prevent from getting infected.

Everyday life-style measures to prevent getting infected:

  • Daily vegetable consumption: preferably consume fresh vegetables and put more of spearmint, parsley, dill, sweet basil, pennyroyal and origany.
  • Daily onion and garlic consumption: use onion and garlic in your food and salad in order to strengthen body’s immune system
  • Daily fruit consumption: consume fruits like apples, pomegranate, oranges, sweet lemon, carrots and turnip
  • Consider using spices like thyme, ginger and cinnamon in your food.

Vitamin A, C, D, selenium and zinc have a major role in reducing the chance of getting infected to the virus and will strengthen the immune system.

Methods for antisepticizing the house to prevent getting infected:

  • Some vegetables such as garlic, clove and laurel have antiseptic use, so you can put some in different areas of your house and antisepticize the air.
  • Wash every thing you can wash with water and soap and heat every thing you can heat, the coronavirus is proofed against cold but you can kill it with a specific amount of heat.
  • Put your shoes in separate bag and anticipate them with water and vinegar solution.
  • Anitiseptize the surfaces with homemade Chlorine solution.

Iranian traditional medicine suggests some ways to face the coronavirus which we are going to count them for you.

  • Nigella seeds can play a major role in strengthen the immune system, you can also massage your forehead and thorax with nigella oil in order to keep your breathing system warm.
  • Combine salt, water and honey and gargle every day, this can strengthen and sterilize your breathing system.
  • Drink at least one cup of water, honey and lemon every day to rinse internal ducts of the body.
  • It is better to drink milk with honey.
